Red Velvet Media is excited to announce A new show that will be featured on Red Velvet Media once a Month!
The Indie Cafe will be premiering Friday June 21st , 2013.. This show will be all about fun and exciting projects and events going on globally.
The show will be Hosted by Red Velvet Media with Spencer Drate and Judith Salavetz who are award-winning creative directors, designers, authors, curators, and packagers specializing in music and pop-culture books. Their many published works have covered diverse subjects within these genres: film animation and special effects, movie and rock posters, rock photography, graphic and Web design, and typography. They have designed for artists such as U2, Lou Reed, The Velvet Underground, Leonard Cohen, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ramones, Talking Heads, The Pretenders, Joan Jett, and Bon Jovi. Drate was a four-time judge on the Grammy music packaging committee, co-designed the Grammy Award–nominated album package Talking Heads: Fear of Music, and wrote 45 RPM, the first visual history book on the 45 record sleeve. They both live and work in New York City.
The first Guest to kick off the series of shows will be Danny Fields who is an American journalist and author. As a music industry executive in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, he was one of the most influential figures in the history of Punk. He managed Iggy and the Stooges, as well as the Ramones, as has worked in various roles with Jim Morrison, the MC5, the Velvet Underground and the Modern Lovers. Fields has been described as "one of the godfathers of Punk"
This will be the first of many new shows to be on Red Velvet Media and the Indie Cafe !
Holly Stephey of Red velvet Media is also involved in the new show "50 Shades of Fame and Fortune" also on the Blogtalk network.
When talking to Holly about the new shows and projects she expressed a fondness for Pop Culture and thinks the new show
"The Indie Cafe " With Spencer Drate and Judith Salavetz will be exciting and a great place for people wanting to hear some of the history of the Rock n Roll industry as well as the Art scene.
"Spencer and Judith will bring things to the public that only people in the industry would hear about " Holly explains.
When talking to Holly about the "50 Shades of fame and Fortune" shows, Holly says that it has proven to be very interesting and has helped her understand more of what it has been like for many of her Friends as well as an up-close and personal view into the experiences of the rich and famous instead of their well publicized lifestyles.
