A New Song has been given an Early Release from West End Superstar ‘Steve Balsamo’ – The recently recorded 'Alive' co written by Steve Balsamo and Ben Robbins has been contributed to Peace in Our Lifetime by Balsamo, in an effort to promote the global ceasefire which takes place every year on ‘Peace Day (Sept 21st).

The uplifting and inspirational song has been used in a music video to promote awareness of Peace Day, which has now been featured as a favourite on ‘Peace One Days’ Video for Peace Competition. View here:

The offer of this outstanding song is Intended to help promote the work of British Peace in Our Lifetime’ and their 'Global United Party for Peace’ who has inspired events around the world to bring awareness of the day. Steve added his voice (0,000,000,525) early on to the initiatives idea, which encourages individuals to be counted, take on that peace begins with each person and acknowledged their voice in a personalised peace certificate showing their unique number and personal stand for peace. Steve is also performing live at the London Event on Monday 21st Sept (7:30pm at The Bedford, Balham)

‘Peace In our Lifetime’ has inspired Parties Worldwide with key partners. Including California, USA where the awesome Armin Winter (JCG) and ‘Peter Harris’ (guitarist JGB, Johnny Winter, Quick Silver Gold, Bruce Hornsby) are performing. The California event has been organised by Red Velvet Media, Conscious Event Promoter, Holly Stephey who says " Invites have been extended to Carlos Santana, Huey Lewis and Jackson Browne" . Rumours are afly of other various 'surprise' guests - who knows who may show up?

Many of the parties will be streamed lived on the internet at and also in 3D virtual world ‘Second Life’, along with inspiring and awareness raising media.

'Peace In Our Lifetime’ is standing side by side with the Nobel Laureate's initiative ‘Peace Jam’ (, which was founded by Dawn Engle (voice 0,000,000,780) and which works with youth to inspire the next generation of Peace Makers. Together they are collaborating with initiatives around the world, linking efforts to bring awareness to the annual global ceasefire which is observed by all United Nations. This amazing accomplishment was established in 2001 by 'Peace One Day', a global community founded and led by British film-maker Jeremy Gilley (Voice 0,000,000,278) On Peace Day 2007 in Afghanistan, thanks to the efforts of 'Peace One Day', during the ceasefire NGO’s were able to mobilise and reach people in previously isolated war zones, allowing 1.4 million children to be immunised for Polio.

Irish Nobel Laureate, Betty Williams is the latest Peace Pioneer to add her voice to Peace. Belfast born Betty was Motivated to make a difference in Northern Ireland leading 35,000 on a quest for peace in Northern Ireland and in recognition of her extraordinary action she was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 1976. Her great peace work continues today and she is one of the 10 Nobel Laureates initiative working with Youth called ‘Peace Jam’.

Talking about Peace in Our Lifetime's 'Global United Party for Peace' to mark World Peace Day, Betty Williams said:

This is a day to honour all of those groups and people who work for peace everyday, all year long. In addition to Betty, another peace pioneer, 'The Peace Troubadour', James Twyman, added his voice (0,000,000,434) the internationally renowned best-selling author (The Art of Spiritual Peace Making & The Moses Code), film maker (Indigo) and musician – has also added his voice to peace. He says:

All of the amazing work and celebrations taking place on ‘Peace Day’ are thanks to the hard work of volunteers and key partners around the world. Jeremy Gilley of ‘Peace One Day’ has made a public acknowledgement of thanks to one of the coordinators, he states

'Peace One Day' ( is founded by British Filmaker Jeremy Gilley ( In 1999, Jeremy launched 'Peace One Day' to find a starting point for peace. His mission: to document efforts to establish the first ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence. Remarkably, two years on, he achieved this when the 192 member states of the United Nations unanimously adopted 21 September, as an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence. This day is a 24 hour-long platform for life-saving activities around the world. On Peace Day 2007 in Afghanistan, through the efforts of 'Peace One Day', 1.4 million children were immunised for Polio.
